The 2009 San Francisco Writers Conference begins just one week from today. It’s a terrific three days of stimulating interaction with the literary community. I’ll be there pitching my book of bio-vignettes, TellTale Souls: Keeping Spirits Alive One Story at a Time. Wish me luck! And I hope to meet you there…

I’ve just been to your site and I love it. Are you still collecting stories for this anthology? I am sure I can get a few more stories for you from other writers if you like….
Thank you for your kind words. And…Yes! I’m always looking for more bio-vignettes. I’d love to have one from you. I’m on the prowl right now for stories in the male voice on Mothers for my next anthology. But, I’m also adding new stories to my present TTS manuscript, so thanks for putting it out there.
Lynn, I enjoyed meeting you at the San Francisco Writer’s Conference! I wish you the best in collecting stories for your next anthology!
Hi Doug, Better late than never. There was a glitch in my comment notifications. I remember you well – thought you might send a story for my collection on the male voice on mothers. I’ll look for it!
i’m quite good in witing but i have not yet signed up on a writing contest “
Thanks for stopping by, Alvin, and promising to return. There are many articles on the Story Woman blog that you may find interesting pertaining to taking the journey into memoir writing. Perhaps you’d like to submit a short, true story capturing the character and spirit of your mother…
